My friend was given a 24 hour ban a couple weeks ago, and I heard of someone getting perma banned, but I didn't realise this problem was still here, and on this big a scale O_O

A-Net my Friend Swift just got banned a few mins ago.He was doing the mission Sanctum cay and suddenly he just got logged out.When he tried logging on again it said he got permanently banned.He is the nicest person ever and i know he doesn't cheat or use bots. Me and my friend swift are in GoD (Allyed with oOo alliance).Many other people have been getting banned aswell. A person from another guild in our alliance has gotten banned when he was on holiday ! It's the worse holiday ever for him.

A-Net Plz unban my friend and all the other people.He worked hard for the 4 sets of 15k dyed black !!

Lol Witchblade... did you get that message when you reported Anet for scamming them out of their money? Because that is the standard message they usually send back to discourage you.

Its funny how innocent people get banned without questioning. Then the real scammer just sell their accounts on ebay when it gets too hot. Have seen that happen too many times now... And the ebayers get their characters banned 2 days after they bought it. Maybe time to get a new kicking-system? Like ingame reporting = faster.

Anyway a explanation and maybe a serious apology might be in place from PR. I mean that is what PR is for isnt it? Ofcoure they will need to put their attention into solving this, so I dont mind waiting for an answer. But if this keeps going on like this, players will loose their faith.

As this issue appears to be serious, (I looked at other sites, and they all say 1) Perma ban 2) No warning 3) No particular activity in common) I'm asking for people to please not say unconstructive things such as "lol they r banning farming lol." Thank you.

I spent one night, well, after about two hours, my estimate, I ran out of tickets. And taht was at the start, abit late to ben me today, about an hour ago.

Also, anyone who AFKed the rings, but didn't get banned, say it here, Alot of people did that, it's like saying 'if you have 15k armour, that might be the reason you got banned'.

3800hours played 3 fow armors.. and i bought factions 4 days ago............. very very nice....................

oh and for those who think its the afk on nine rings remember guildwiki is on www.guildwars.com fan site listing as guild wars enyclopedia... guildwiki has a guide to achieving the titles(hours-money needed). This has got to be a mistake... remember the error 013(or something) we got somedays ago? and didnt they transfer their database a while back? hmm

Didn't Gaile say in one of her chat sessions that a new method of detecting bots would be introduced soon?

Either way, I think I'll be holding off on loggin in until I'm sure I won't be banned for playing.
